Acceptable Use Policy — Reveal

Who Can Use Reveal

Reveal is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. Users must provide accurate date of birth during signup. Age verification is enforced — users under 18 are automatically blocked. Users must be real individuals — no businesses, bots, or automated accounts are permitted.

Permitted Uses

Users may use Reveal to:

• Create a genuine personal profile representing themselves accurately
• Connect and communicate with other real users
• Answer compatibility questions honestly
• Build genuine romantic or social connections
• Use all features provided within their subscription plan

Prohibited Uses

Users must NOT use Reveal to:

• Create fake, misleading or impersonated profiles
• Use another person's photos or identity
• Harass, threaten, intimidate or harm other users
• Send unsolicited explicit content
• Solicit money from other users under any circumstances
• Advertise products, services or other platforms
• Recruit users for other apps, websites or services
• Share personal contact information before the photo reveal threshold
• Attempt to circumvent the contact information blocking system
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers or scripts
• Collect or harvest other users' data
• Distribute spam, malware or harmful content
• Engage in any form of sexual exploitation or trafficking
• Share or solicit child sexual abuse material of any kind
• Engage in illegal activity of any kind
• Violate any applicable local, national or international law
• Impersonate Reveal staff or representatives
• Attempt to access other users' accounts without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app

Content Standards

All content shared on Reveal including profile photos, bios, messages and questionnaire answers must:

• Be accurate and truthful
• Represent only yourself
• Not contain explicit sexual content unless both users have opted into the relevant premium features
• Not contain hate speech, discrimination or content targeting protected characteristics
• Not promote violence, illegal activity or harmful behaviour
• Not infringe any third party intellectual property rights

Controls We Have in Place

Reveal uses the following controls to detect and prevent AUP violations:

• Age verification blocking users under 18 at signup
• Email verification required before app access
• Facial liveness verification to confirm real users
• Automated contact information blocking in all chat messages
• User reporting and blocking functionality available at all times
• All reports reviewed by our safety team
• Blocked message logging for safety monitoring
• Admin review of flagged accounts

Consequences of Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Immediate removal of offending content
• Temporary suspension of account access
• Permanent account ban
• Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities
• Legal action where appropriate

The severity of the consequence depends on the nature and severity of the violation. We reserve the right to take action at our sole discretion.

Reporting Violations

Users who encounter a violation of this policy should report it immediately using the in-app report function or by emailing support@getrevealapp.com. All reports are reviewed promptly. False or malicious reports may result in action against the reporting account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of Reveal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
