Law Enforcement Request Protocol — Reveal

Who Can Submit Requests

Only verified law enforcement agencies and government authorities may submit legal requests for user data. We do not respond to requests from private individuals or unauthorised third parties.

How to Submit a Request

All law enforcement requests must be submitted in writing to legal@getrevealapp.com and must include:

• Full name and badge or employee number of the requesting officer
• Name and contact information of the requesting agency
• Official agency email address and phone number
• Case or investigation reference number
• The applicable legal authority — subpoena, warrant, court order or other binding legal process
• A clear and specific description of the information requested
• The time period covered by the request
• The reason the information is being requested

Incomplete requests or requests lacking proper legal authority will be declined.

Review Process

Every request is individually reviewed by our legal team to confirm:

• The request is legally valid and binding
• The request is appropriately limited in scope
• The request is consistent with applicable privacy and data protection laws including GDPR
• The requesting agency has proper jurisdiction

We reserve the right to challenge or reject requests that are overly broad, unlawful, or inconsistent with applicable legal requirements.

Emergency Requests

If there is an imminent threat involving death or serious physical injury, law enforcement agencies should clearly identify the emergency nature of the request in the subject line and body of the email. Emergency requests are reviewed as quickly as reasonably possible. Contact: legal@getrevealapp.com

User Notification

Where permitted by law, Reveal will notify affected users before disclosing their information. We may delay notification where legally required or where notification would compromise an ongoing investigation.

Data Preservation

Where legally required, Reveal will preserve account information for a limited period pending receipt of appropriate legal process. Preservation requests should be submitted to legal@getrevealapp.com

Transparency

Reveal publishes transparency information about law enforcement requests in accordance with applicable law. We will not comply with requests that we believe violate applicable law or user rights.

GDPR Compliance

All law enforcement requests involving users in the European Union are handled in strict compliance with GDPR and applicable EU and Spanish data protection law. We will not transfer data outside the EU without proper legal basis.
